This interdisciplinary, interactive three-week program allows you to expand your creativity or explore new creative interests.
  • As a participant in The Arts! at Maryland, you’ll choose one three-credit class from a selection of challenging, college-level courses in theatre, music, dance, visual arts, or creative writing.
  • You’ll study with the university’s best faculty, who’ll provide attentive instruction, set standards for excellence, challenge your creativity, and help you focus and refine your work. For three weeks, you’ll immerse yourself in your art and exchange ideas with your peers, faculty, and professional artists.
  • Your experience will extend beyond the classroom and the studio. One night a week, you’ll participate in a student cabaret coffee house that includes poetry, music, artwork, dramatic excerpts, and more. Other activities include field trips to local theatres, studios, galleries and literary centers.
