  • Pok-O-MacCready Camps, brother-sister summer camps for boys and girls ages 6-16, are located on a beautiful lake, in New York’s Adirondack Mountains . Memories forged at Pok-O-MacCready last a lifetime. At Pok-O, we pride ourselves on providing a traditional summer camp experience while constantly adapting to ever-changing trends in the camping community and youth culture.
  • Facilities available to every camper include an early 19th Century working farm, a climbing tower, tennis and basketball courts, a street hockey complex, modern horse stables, ball fields, swimming and boating docks, and over 50 cabins.
  • Among the over-50 activities offered each summer are: hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, and creative arts.
  • It’s summer camp without the summer! Many of our campers and staff reunite for a week of recreation, socializing and celebrating the new year. Campers stay in the heated dormitories of our year-round facility. There is no shortage of things to do in the beautiful Adirondacks in winter: Skiing and snowboarding at Whiteface Mountain, site of the 1980 Winter Olympics, Cross-Country Skiing around camp and at world class nordic ski centers.
