  • Though the application deadline is at the end of April, many courses fill up before then so students who apply early and are accepted, have a much better opportunity at getting in to their preferred courses.
  • The school's residential structure enables faculty to get to know and support students in their personal, social and intellectual development.
  • The Summer Session offers more than 60 courses in Mathematics, The Arts, English, ESL, Sciences, History, and Social Science.
  • The Academy is committed to establishing a community that encourages people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs to understand and respect one another and to be sensitive to differences of gender, ethnicity, class and sexual orientation.
  • Outstanding facilities on the school's 500-acre campus include the Addison Gallery of American Art, which houses 12,000 works, the Robert S. Peabody Museum of Archaeology, The Oliver Wendell Holmes Library with 101,000 volumes, a 65-acre bird sanctuary, and an astronomy observatory.
  • The Summer Session offers its students five weeks of intensive academic and personal growth. It encompasses demanding classes, recreational afternoon activities, engaging trips to colleges, social and cultural opportunities and welcoming dormitories that prepare students for collegiate residential life in an environment designed for their age group.
