  • Students live together in a campus residence facility, and cultural and recreational activities are arranged by resident advisors.
  • During the morning hours, each student participates in a three-credit-hour course chosen from SMU's regular summer offerings in the fields of mathematics, philosophy, languages, literature, political science, history, psychology, arts and humanities, the sciences, and rhetoric. Students are guided into courses for which they have appropriate prerequisite skills. In the afternoon, the College Experience students study together in a unique learning community, the College Experience Seminar.
