  • An individual, expressive use of film and video is emphasized in the Film/Video program. Each year, students learn all aspects of creative film and digital video production, view over fifty exemplary films and videos, and hear lectures and presentations by artists and filmmakers working in the field. Students are given opportunities to visit commercial studios and related facilities.
  • The program is learning-intensive, and ideal for self-starters who want to challenge both themselves and the boundaries of film and video production.
  • DIGITAL VIDEO PRODUCTION This class introduces students to independent video production techniques including autobiography, narrative and personal documentary. Students receive hands-on camera and digital editing training and are instructed in using the medium for creative expression.
  • The program also includes field trips that in the past have included tours of Paramount Pictures Studios, and visits to prop houses, live action location shoots, and public screenings of student works at art houses in the Los Angeles area.
